The state facilitated the construction of RES for own consumption

According to the promulgated texts, an end customer can build energy objects for the production of electricity from renewable sources on roof and facade structures of buildings connected to the electricity transmission, electricity distribution or closed electricity distribution network and on real estates to them in urbanized territories, the energy from which will is used only for own consumption , and the total installed power of the energy objects can be up to twice the amount of the provided power, but not more than 5 MW.

For this purpose, the end customer submits a notification to the operator of the electricity transmission network or to the relevant operator of an electricity distribution or closed electricity distribution network.

Within 14 days of receiving the notification, the operator of the electricity transmission or the relevant electricity distribution or closed electricity distribution network provides an additional agreement to the access and transmission contract to the end customer, which specifies the technical requirements for the connection scheme of the energy object to the electrical system of the end customer and the rights and obligations of the parties are regulated in order to guarantee the security of the electricity system in order to prevent the entry of electricity and disturbances in the network.

The additional agreement to the access and transmission contract is concluded before the issuance of a permit for the construction of the energy site, in which case an opinion on accession is not issued.
